Sector Indices

Sector indices differentiate the listed companies and track the development of the individual sectors. The advantages: investors can make investment decisions in a more selective manner; companies benefit from the depiction of their respective peer group.

The categorization by sector of a company is preceded by its allocation to one of the 63 subsectors (see index guide). Deutsche Börse calculates the sector indices DAXsubsector, DAXsector und DAXsupersector based on the companies in Prime Standard. The All-Share-Indices, DAXsubsector All and DAXsector All take into account all securities in Prime Standard, General Standard and Entry Standard.
